President Obama, First Lady Michelle and their daughters, Malia and Sasha will soon leave the White House and return to private life.
But what does the future hold for the First Family as they begin their new lives in early 2017?
Unlike other presidents who have left office, the Obamas will remain in Washington, D.C. so their youngest daughter, Sasha, can finish high school at the prestigious Sidwell Friends School. Older daughter Malia is taking a year off and will begin attending classes at Harvard in the fall of 2017.
In this time of transition, please pray:
Donald Trump has been married three times and has five children, plus eight grandchildren. With his first wife, Ivana, he had three children – Donald, Jr., Ivanka and Eric. With his second wife, Marla, he has one daughter, Tiffany, and with his current wife, Melania, he has one son, Barron.
Donald, Jr. is married to Vanessa and they have five children. Ivanka is married to Jared Kushner and they have three children. Eric is married to Lara. Tiffany recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Barron is ten years old. All of his adult children have been heavily involved in the presidential campaign.
Although President-elect Trump will take up residence in the White House after his inauguration, Melania and Barron won’t move into the White House right away, planning to stay in New York until the end of the school year.
During this transition time, please pray:
